We went to Wigle Whiskey for Phil-A-Palooza and dinner this weekend. Seeing Phil and getting a picture with him was cool and the included cocktail was good! We really enjoyed dinner as well, especially the cheese curds and pretzel sticks appetizers. They had a great cocktail selection (not all whiskey). The service was friendly! Would definitely recommended.

After the location next to Threadbare closed to the public, we started coming to this location for our Wigle fix and really loved the taster events they held the last few years where you pay for a ticket and walk through different stations for mini cocktail and food bites. We've since moved but whenever we're in town, we make a point to stop by. This time around, I got the s'mores old fashioned and it had the right amount of marshmallow with bourbon, and the mushroom arugula burger. So tasty!

We went to Wigle Whiskey for their Wigle Wonderland pop up bar. It's located on the side of their building in the tasting room area. The inside is tastefully and beautifully decorated. The drinks themselves were all delicious! My favorites were the Rudolph Rum Runner and the Merry Mocha shot!

I knew about Wigle for several years and was looking for an opportunity to try their tasting room. The service was great, especially the gentleman that worked with us on our tasting. The server who waited on us was good too. The pirogies and pretzels were excellent as was the smash burger. We enjoyed the bourbon and rye tasting as well and left with a couple of bottles.

I really like it here! I think the appetizers are actually really good, and i LOVE their pop up bars!!!! the drinks are always so fun and delicious. I think for a whiskey distillery, i should love their whiskey, but i actually find it a little bit too sweet. that's pretty much the only reason i wouldn't give it 5 stars... but i definitely could be persuaded. It's a great spot and i come here often! i LOVE their cheese curds and their pierogies

Wigle Whiskey (pronounced "wih-gul") is a craft distillery located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, producing small-batch artisan whiskey. Entirely family-owned and operated, Wigle Whiskey is known for its organic "grain-to-glass" process, sourcing ingredients from nearby farms in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and eastern Ohio. The distillery mills and distills grains on-site and serves the finished products at their location. During its startup, the Meyer family collaborated with the Artisan Distilling Program at Michigan State University. Wigle distills all of its whiskey from scratch and conducted a two-year study on regional terroir, producing Rye Whiskey from rye grown in Saskatchewan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania, discovering distinct flavor differences based on the grain's origin. The food, whiskey, and customer service were the best we experienced during our visit.

Wiggle whiskey is also a must stop at when we are in town. We always have great service and their large selection of bourbon, whiskey, gin, other alcoholic beverages is always vast and we always find something new to try. This round we did start with a flight with some of their fall flavors, such as their apple whiskey, the walkabout, the afterglow, which is a ginger whiskey, their cast Barrel, which was delicious. The cast strength a.k.a. the wiggle reserve makes an excellent old fashion. I also tried one of the seasonal cocktails, the sweater weather , which is made with cider from thread bear, and it was delicious. As the server said it is fall in a glass. We also tried the deviled eggs appetizer and they were delicious. This location always provides for a great experience and we always look forward to going back

This was on our list of places to try while visiting Pittsburgh. (Can guests call it the Burgh, or is that a 3rd date kinda move?) The bartender was super friendly and appeased our questions about what to check out while visiting. We were pretty happy with the flavors in our flights, though the 1st on each would up beingbour favorites. We also enjoyed the refreshing gimlet. We walked out with a bottle of the honey whiskey because it was smooth, baby. I also grabbed their rosemary lavender bitters because it was a nice addition in the gimlet. What can I say, I'm an easy sell. Lol, check em out. It's well worth a visit.
